Welcome to this latest edition of Lymphoma Matters.
We know from our lymphoma community that it’s not just our trusted information and support services that are important to you, but also our work to advocate for improved treatment and care. We strive to represent our community at every opportunity that we can, raising awareness through campaigns like ‘Let’s talk lymphoma’ during Blood Cancer Awareness Month, supporting NHS projects like the NHL (non-Hodgkin lymphoma) Audit, and working with partners like the Blood Cancer Alliance to improve access to medicines.
With your support we have been able to do more of this, whilst at the same time developing new services such as Preparing for Treatment and Lymphoma Essentials (a new educational resource for healthcare professionals which we hope to launch soon).
There are many opportunities to get involved, from volunteering to supporting our advocacy work to taking part in fundraisers like Bridges of London (see page 18). We look forward to doing more with our community for everyone affected by lymphoma and hope you enjoy reading some of their amazing stories in this edition.
