Awareness
Blood Cancer Awareness Month is coming!
September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM). This is our big chance to join forces and raise awareness of lymphoma and its symptoms, so more people can spot it sooner and get the help they need.
Since we launched our big Let’s talk lymphoma campaign two years ago, more than 1,500 of you – our wonderful supporters – have got involved. We are so grateful to every one of you for:
- Talking to thousands of people and organisations about lymphoma symptoms and the support our Charity can provide.
- Fundraising with family, friends and colleagues, at home, work and school through Cakey Bakey events, donating September celebrations and taking part in incredible sporting and adrenaline events up and down the country.
This year, we have BIG ambitions for BCAM: we want to reach as many GPs as we can!
We know you are as passionate as we are about making sure GPs know the symptoms of lymphoma so that more people get the right diagnosis at the right time.
If you can take one of our symptoms awareness packs to your local GP, you could make a massive difference in your local community. If just one person sitting in a waiting room spots a symptom, they’ll be more likely to ask the question “Could it be lymphoma?”

Register for your BCAM pack today to see how you can get involved. Visit our website or call us on 01296 619400.
So you want to fundraise for BCAM but need some inspiration? No idea, event or activity is off limits. Whether you want to bake cakes with friends, leap out of a plane, paint your nails purple or run a marathon, every action you take and every penny raised, truly makes a difference. Just take a look…

Together, we can help more people sooner. Let’s talk lymphoma and make sure no one has to face it alone!
