Introducing Assemble for volunteers
As we mark our 40th anniversary as a charity, we’re proud to celebrate not only our history but also the exciting future ahead. Lymphoma Action was founded by volunteers, and they have helped us to support countless lives and build a strong community of care over these past four decades. We’re excited to announce we’ve launched a new volunteer system, called Assemble, to help elevate the volunteer experience further and streamline volunteer coordination to make the greatest positive impact for people affected by lymphoma.
Our volunteers have been involved throughout this project to collaboratively bring it to life so that it fits all aspects of their volunteering. The new system means we can communicate and connect more effectively, giving us more scope to recruit new individuals. It will help us ensure every volunteer feels informed about updates and valued for the commitment they generously give. Assemble also makes logging volunteer activities simpler, so we can spend less time on admin and more time focusing on what truly matters – making a difference.
Our anniversary is a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and to look forward with optimism. With Assemble, we’re embracing innovation while staying true to the heart of our mission of making sure that no one faces lymphoma alone. We’re excited to take these next steps together with our incredible volunteers!
- Around 250 volunteers help the Charity across 15 different roles.
- In 2025, they volunteered nearly 5,000 hours of their time.
“ Assemble will allow us to participate in more volunteering activities. It will give us the opportunity to partake in more training, and overall feel more supported. It will also make it much easier for us to collaborate and work together as part of a team.

Website update
If you have visited the Lymphoma Action website recently, you may have noticed that it looks a bit different!
We’ve made some changes to the menu, layout and design to make it easier for people to find what they need and learn about all the different ways we can support people affected by lymphoma.
The information on our website is an important part of the service we offer and a key way that people find us, so we are always working to improve the experience for everyone who visits our site.
