Why our work matters
Welcome to the latest edition of Lymphoma Matters. Thank you if you were one of the more than 1,700 people who took part in our patient experience survey which we ran with the Lymphoma Coalition earlier this year. We have begun analysing what you told us, and we are incredibly grateful for the time and personal experiences that so many of you shared. Your feedback helps to shape our work so that we continue to reflect what matters most to people affected by lymphoma.
One message that came through strongly is the continuing need to have access to trusted information, practical support and opportunities to connect with others who understand the challenges of living with lymphoma. Many of you also told us that you want to play an active role in decisions about your care. You explained how vital it is to know about, and have access to, the most effective treatments. All of these themes are reflected throughout this edition, and we look forward to sharing more about what we have learned, and how it will influence our work, in the coming months.
Above all, you reminded us why our work matters and how invaluable the support that we provide as a specialist charity is. We want to ensure that this support is there for everyone who needs it for years to come. One of the most important ways that we do this is through the generosity of supporters who leave us gifts in Wills.
These extraordinary gifts help ensure that no one faces lymphoma alone, not just today, but for generations to come. Click here if you would like to find out more.
I hope you enjoy reading this edition.
