Let's zip for lymphoma: Saturday 21 September!
Last year, 40 brave souls – nurses, staff, family, friends and corporate supporters – took on the fastest zip line in the world in a somewhat windswept quarry in North Wales.
Not only did they conquer their fears, but they raised more than £20,000 in the process! That’s enough to ensure that 1,000 people receive vital support and information from our specialist helpline team. This year we are back and things are getting serious! Not one zip….but two! And for you, just one choice; are you Team Laura or Team Amy?
Join Laura in Wales and take on the fastest zip line in the world in Snowdonia, across the Penrhyn Quarry.
Join Amy and head to Kent to tackle the longest zip line in England, flying across Bluewater lake.
minimum target to raise!
The challenges will take place on opposite sides of the country on the same day, with one goal in mind: to get our adrenaline pumping and fly for Blood Cancer Awareness Month in September.
Places on our Zip teams are free and we ask you to raise a minimum of £300. Our Fundraising Team is here to support all your efforts, both on and off the wire! Sign up today on our website or get in touch with us at fundraising@lymphoma-action.org.uk if you have any questions.
Let's talk lymphoma!
We are counting down to our biggest month of the year! September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month and we want to get as many people as possible talking about lymphoma, increasing awareness and raising vital funds along the way.
There are lots of ways to get involved:
- What is lymphoma? Help us share the symptoms and raise awareness.
- Tell your story: Share your experience of lymphoma with others to inspire and connect our community.
- Fundraising fun: Join Team Laura or Team Amy on the zip-lines, take on another challenge or do your own thing to raise vital funds in September.
It’s so easy to join us, either from the comfort of your sofa or out and about taking on a challenge. What will you do this September to make it our biggest ever Blood Cancer Awareness Month?
