Supporting our community

Welcome to your latest edition of Lymphoma Matters.

At this time of the year, we look back at what we achieved in 2024 and look forward to exciting plans for 2025.

Last year we reached more people with a growing suite of Online Support Meetings, new services like Preparing for Treatment, more digital resources, bigger and better awareness campaigns and more support for healthcare professionals. We also took part in 21 separate health technology assessments for new medicines, up from fourteen the year before. We are doing more in this area of policy than ever before, from supporting NHS projects like the NHL audit to working with One Cancer Voice on influencing the new government.

Our plans for 2025 include the development of a new resource to complement Preparing for Treatment, as well as launching our new educational service for healthcare professionals who are new to lymphoma. We also plan to explore more ways to empower people with lymphoma and address the challenges in how people are diagnosed. And much more besides! We look forward to telling you more about these developments throughout the year. They are all possible because of the generosity of our community. So, thank you for all your support.

Lastly, we really love to hear about how our services and resources (including this magazine) make a difference to you. Not only does your feedback help us to improve what we do, but it also lets us know when we’re doing things right, which is equally important. Please email us at publications@lymphoma-action.org.uk. In particular, if you have feedback on new services like Preparing for Treatment or have ideas of how we could improve that service or any of our activities, please let us know.
